Tom Baker is most famous for playing the fourth incarnation of the title character The Doctor in the long running BBC science fiction fantasy series Doctor Who (1963) (TV Series) and he also played Puddleglum in the BBC adaptation of The Silver Chair (1990) (TV Series) which is based on the fantasy novel "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair" by C.S. Lewis.

No dragons or other animals were hurt or injured during the filming of this motion picture.
Some sound reductions were made for the UK cinema version to reduce the impact of violence and bring the rating down to a "12". An uncut "15" rating was available to the distributor (Entertainment Film Distributors). UK video and DVD versions have the cuts restored because the sound effects were found to be "less disturbing on the small screen" (according to the British Board of Film Classification).
