PG-13 | | Comedy, Romance
A high school senior's girlfriend breaks up with him. His friends try to make him think of something else. His friend's sister Kelly helps him with the school musical. Spending time with Kelly has an effect.
When Berke auditions for the musical, he sees a girl wearing a Big Red T-shirt and randomly sings the Big Red jingle with the help of Kelly, Basin and all the other students. Big Red is also the name of the previous cheerleading captain in Bring It On (2000), another movie which Kirsten Dunst starred in.
She was the first girl to see me naked. Granted we were 7 years old at the time, but I had a feeling, even then. There's really something about the first girl you play doctor with. Maybe it's cosmic or something. Or perhaps it's just that she's seen...
During the intermission, when Allison is trying to convince Berke to to get back with her, Kelly walks in to hear the conversation. Her hair is in a completely different style and color.
No animals were harmed in the making of this film. However, we did manage to sprain two ankles, break one wrist, squirt one extra in the eye with chili and drive our UPM into insanity.
The DVD includes deleted & extended scenes, many of which cut to get a PG-13 rating including trimming the party, the parents sex show, and the strip club amongst others.
