  • For an adult movie to have comedy of this calibre is a rarity. Such was a surprising viewing experience here. Is this movie funny? No, it's bloody hilarious. It rates well with a lot of other very funny comedies. On a laugh metre, this rates no less than an 8. They have show the nursing profession in a whole new light, other than what is seen in that comedy hit show. Radar is a hoot. It's great watching adult stars mock stuff like this, making fools of themselves, as they do better when trying to be serious, actually thinking they can act, which they can, to a certain degree, Ron Jeremy, probably the best in the business. I never expected this film to be as funny as it was. It's a great adult comedy night at home. Put the kiddies to bed, put your feet up, for one eye popping experience, that will have you cracking up hard.
  • In terms of tone and story elements, Nurses of the 407th is actually closer to the original MASH book/movie than the TV series was. A lot of the acting is surprising naturalistic, with exactly the kind of humor that characterized Hooker's novel. Clearly, the filmmakers understood MASH the way Hooker meant it (as opposed to what the TV series became), and took that ball and ran.

Is it porno? Absolutely, yes -- the sex scenes go on far too long to pretend otherwise, taking up a good chunk of the running time. But in between those, it's also a reasonably successful funny comedy/farce. Search online to see it, because it seems nobody is selling their old VHS copies.
  • This pornographic parody of MASH is both sexy and funny. Miles above the earlier porn spoof "Mash'd", this film not only benefits from having Jessie St. James in it of course, as she's utterly stunning, but also from some genuinely good acting and a script that doesn't just give lip service to what it's spoofing, but captures the essence of it quite well. St. James as Nurse Hot Hips Henderson is delightful and funny (the scene with her and her toy 'Mr. Penis' being an obvious standout) It's a sincere shame that Tony Kendrick didn't write or direct any other movies after this one as it's plain to see that he had talent. So yea, to sum up, this forgotten little gem of a film comes with my highest accolades.
