Some of the marijuana plants used in the shooting were real. The British government gave permission to the filming crew the use of 150 marijuana plants, under supervision of the authorities. This meant that the plants had someone guarding them on the set, and watching over its transportation to a nearby storage facility for its safekeeping at night.
Margaret Sutton:
May I help you?
Diana Singer:
Would you like some Cornflakes? They're heavenly.
Quentin Rhodes:

Margaret Sutton:
Would you like a chocolate ice cycle?
Quentin Rhodes:
I'm looking for Lilac House. I'm trying to contact Grace Trevethyn.
Diana Singer:

The level of Grace's wine when she's talking to her late husband's lover. It goes from half to almost full as the camera switches from a side to a behind view. Also, when the wine is poured, the bottle is not tipped up long enough and it doesn't make a long enough pouring sound to put that much wine in the glass.
In the opening credits, the movie title appears and then turns to smoke & blows away while you hear someone exhale.
