After a teenager has a terrifying vision of him and his friends dying in a plane crash, he prevents the accident only to have Death hunt them down, one by one.
The numerous appearances of "180" in the movie refer to the film's original title of "Flight 180". New Line decided to rename the film to "Final Destination" through fear of confusion of other movies like Air Force One (1997) or Con Air (1997).
It depends on which one of us is next.
(at around 15 mins) When the 747 is supposedly in a nosedive, items can be seen falling down, toward the front of the cabin, as if the aircraft was still. The G-forces caused by a high speed dive would pull items up, toward the back of the cabin.
The opening credits are done in a ghosting format.
