Extremely funny on the double sense jokes (albures) and has a positive message for those who have a fortune and then try to "invest" on illegal business.
Lalo "El Mimo" steals the show with his hysterical performance made with albures, funny jokes, facial humorist expressions, and a suave attitude.
He's aided on the comedic aspect by Sergio Ramos el "Comanche" and the marvelous "El Borras".
The plot is simple. "El Caguamo" wins ten million pesos in the lottery and decides to invest his money on 5 different places where he and his mates fix cars. A car workshop. But he buys the pieces from an illegal dealer who brings them from the USA. Life is good for "Caguamo" as he spends a lot of his money on cheap and expensive booze (depending the occasion), women, prostitutes, horrible but expensive clothes and more booze. Oh but he's a great friend and shares it with his friends.
He also has the time to get married four times and pro-create four different children but only her first wife is loyal to him.
Soon after his business are at his peek, Police finds about his "PIMP" lifestyle and start and investigation on him. He's caught and sentenced to jail for 8 years. His lawyer (contacted through a cabaret dancer) makes everything possible to solve his situation and that means selling ALL his properties (the workshops and car) in order to indemnize his women and pay his honoraries.
"Caguamo" makes friends in jail and thus the situation isn't that bad. Heck, he even only spends 2 years in prison. In a very funny scene he is visited for conyugal visit by three of his wives. He ends up getting physically demolished.
The movie is FILLED with albures, sex jokes, offensive jokes against the sisters and mothers of the cast members, and even has space for alcohol jokes.
Humberto Elizondo as the fancy lawyer and Otto Sirgo as the drunken boss have good cameos. But as I said, "Lalo El Mimo" steals the show and owns this movie.
Please give this movie a try if you are into Mexican culture and humor. It's raunchy but funny and shows a lower class that tries to make a living from a fortune that is illegal at some point.
