10 SHAOLIN DISCIPLES is the usual fuzzy and cheap kung fu film from Filmark. The story is about a valuable artefact stolen from the Shaolin Temple by a vicious warlord, who murders the abbot in the process. Various Shaolin heroes swear vengeance and a long-running battle proceeds. This is a film which features the usual low rent stars of the 1980s including Eagle Han and Elton Chong, but an entirely singular lack of inventiveness in terms of plot, character, and action. It's merely one routine fight after another, building to a typical let's-take-on-the-white-haired-baddie climax. Even kung fu fans will be hard pressed to enjoy this one.
