| great but too few fights
The movie is heavy on the drama but the fights are good. The late great Lam Ching-Ying was the action director and he could make your mother look like a kung fu master. He is well known for being Bruce Lee's body double for acrobatic stunts. The copy I viewed was English dubbed and widescreen though low resolution. Because of the widescreen it could not have been from VHS, yet if it was widescreen from laser disk the resolution would have been better. I wish I had more information on this. Some of these old movies only exist today because of the old VHS rental market. Others seem to have been transfers from original film stock to digital. How did that even happen?
