Ti Lung directs and stars in this addition to Shaw's swathe of 'young rebel' movies being made during the era. This one has a lighter tone than the others but it still works well thanks to the constant conflict and life struggles that our lead struggles with. Lung plays a young office worker desperate to get himself a motorbike, but financial struggles make up the brunt of the plotline. Deft characterisation and decent casting make this a breeze of a watch, and although it's not really an action film fight choreographer Liu Chia Liang brings in plenty of traditional mayhem, a showdown with bodybuilder Lee Hoi Sang being the highlight.
