SEXUALLY YOURS has the glossy visual style of Max Pecas, but is otherwise a departure -a light-hearted sex comedy. Some measure of the credit for its success should go to adapter/dialog writer Michel Vocoret, who provides considerable comic relief as the hero's sidekick.
Stars Yan Brian and lovely Valerie Boisgel reunited a year later in the well-made XXX drama LA VILLA, but contrary to IMDb's listing, YOUNG CASANOVA is strictly softcore.
Yan portrays Gerard Casanova, a Parisian "call-boy" as he terms himself, in contradistinction to the usual gigolo categorization. He hires himself out to women of all ages, and the oddball encounters make up the film's lightly satirical content. He recruits his favorite bartender Robert, played by Vocoret, to be his valet, and the latter even gets some sack time with the femme clients as part of the bargain.
This is very light fluff, not the melodramatic porn Pecas usually churned out, and is fun to watch. All the women are beautiful, especially Boisgel as Mme. de Clermont (IMDb credits her as Alice but I thought her name was announced as Cecile).
One element of the film was slightly prophetic, as Gerard has a bottle of an elixir that helps him achieve the necessary erections, later also used by Robert, decades before Viagra or Cialis made the scene. The bottle is merely labeled "FORSEX".
Only kinky segment is when an aged baroness appears in dominatrix outfit and lightly whips Robert.
Hardly his best effort, but still this represents quality escapist entertainment from Pecas.
