A little orphan girl catches the attention of a kind man named Mr. Warbucks, who wants to adopt her, but the cruel, strict orphanage owner has a scheme to keep Annie - and her reward money.
The original lyrics for Tomorrow:" The way we live now, It's different, than the way we lived our lives before. I'm not sure!". The song was originally called The Way We Live Now, and it was used for a 1970 short called Replay, which compared the flower power hippy movement of the 1960s and 1970s with the flapper movement of the 20s. (The short can be seen on YouTube). Charles Strousse then re-used the melody and re-dubbed it "Tomorrow" when he and Martin Chernin were developing the Broadway show Annie.
Molly:
Mommy!
When Rooster and Lily enter as Annie's parents, Lily sits on the front of Miss Hannigan's desk. When the shot switches to Miss Hannigan's face you can see the edge of the desk, but Lily is gone. When the shot switches back to behind the desk, Lily is there again.
While Ernie Sabella and Vic Polizos are both in the opening titles of the film, they are NOT in the end credits.
