English Version of Comments: This show, made in Mexico features the wit and charm of Eugenio Derbez, one of the best comedians to come out of Mexico in years. Since it's in Spanish, I'll include Spanish commentary as well. This comedy variety show had a number of hilarious moments, and several recurring characters that were very funny. Among the best were Armando Hoyos, where Eugenio Derbez wore glasses that made his eyes look impossibly large; the baby demon, who would cause trouble through a machine; and Julio Esteban, the questionable spiritualist. Although my favorite was the send-up Ton Ton Derbez, a parody of a Fireball XL-5 type show.
