See, "Alma Rebelde" was featured in the 7 p.m. schedule. That means it was oriented for teenagers mostly. Was it able to catch the attention of young people with it's classical, washed out plot? Not exactly.
The plot was well known. The rich girl who was a cold heart suddenly meets a poor boy that lives near the rich girl's mansion in the beach. He worked there also and one thing leads to another and boom! Both fall in love. The producers decided to go the easy way and set a well known plot and use beautiful exteriors.
Lizzette Morelos was extremely pretty, sexy. She had it all: a beautiful angelical face, perfect blonde hair, nice tight body, and a sexy raspy voice. I don't know why she didn't become a huge star... She was heavily criticized for her acting (critics called it "bland").
Verastegui was only decent.
Well, this was a not so popular novela but it had it's small database. I enjoyed it.
Oh, and Limite's theme for the novela was very catchy. Aja!
