    This is film that they use to show on TV on Christmas in Norway. It's definitely one of Tancered Ibsen's best movies and perhaps the funniest.

    (Spoilers, Spoilers)The movie contains of several short episode-films, but there are a red thread through them all. One is about a tyrannic boy who is the son of a rich farmer. Another is about an old man who tells a farmer about what scary things that happened to him when he was in the city. This is only two of several films. *Entertainment for the whole family.

    This is Tancred Ibsens (Fant) twentieth movie and contains one of the funniest opening sequence in his career. Long time Norwegian actor Harald Heide-Steen Jr.(Olsenbanden & Dynamitt-Harry) plays Ola, the angry little boy, in the first story of this five episodes movie. The five episodes spins around the farm Smehaugen where people sit around a coffee table and tells stories to each other. The episodes are about people connected to the farm in one or another way. With is't hilarious dialog and the warm stories from the countryside makes this picture a enjoyable Norwegian film to watch. The movie is based on Hans Aanrud novel "Stories" (1891).
