Two slacker wrestling fans are devastated by the ousting of their favorite character by an unscrupulous promoter.
Rose McGowan admitted she hated this movie and didn't want to be in it, eventually giving in after throwing the script in the trash three times.

During the first wrestling match between Diamond Dallas Page and Jimmy King, a table is seen set up outside of the ring with nothing on it. In the very next shot when Page tosses King out of the ring and through the table, magazines and other materials suddenly appear on the table.

A shot of the "Oklahoma"-singing cowboy tied to a tree was cut from the video and DVD releases after concern was expressed that it made light of anti-gay violence.
