A heartfelt documentary focusing on the day-to-day lives of professional wrestlers, some on the rise, some on the wane, and others fighting for their lives.
Vince McMahon was reportedly upset when neither he nor his company received any compensation after the film's success at the box office, as he had been led to believe that it was a non-commercial independent film. McMahon subsequently refused to promote the movie, even going so far as to ban the film's trailers from airing during commercial breaks of his WWE Raw (1993) broadcasts.
Maybe I'll be the next Denzel.
