Annie tells Jack that alternate-Jack had a star named for Kate as an anniversary gift. The star names recognized and used by scientists are those that have been published by astronomers at credible scientific institutions. The International Astronomical Union (the worldwide federation of astronomical societies) accepts and uses only those names. Such names are never sold. While it's not completely impossible that Jack managed to convince them to name one after her, it's exceedingly unlikely.
As actor Robert Downey Sr.'s name scrolls up the screen during the credits, the words "(a prince)" appear next to it. This happens in other movies in which he appears.
A scene with Paul Sorvino was filmed but edited out of the final cut. The scene can be seen on the deleted scenes section of the DVD.
