Mr. Mack was very unctuous in his role
This offering did make some laugh in the audience. There is no accounting for different tastes, but how such a cute little picture of femininity as Norma Talmadge could admire such a creature of avoirdupois as Hughie Mack, presented, in comparison with her brothers's friend is beyond ken. Mr. Mack was very unctuous in his role. James Morrison, George Cooper and William Shea ably assisted in making this an amusing number. The photography is as good as the Vitagraph brand always make. - The Moving Picture World, March 14, 1914
