This is a Malayalam language film which brought together the romantic hit combination of Dileep and Manju who performed together in multiple films after this and even got married in real life.
The film written by the brilliant Lohithadas had an excellent message too for the younger generation. That love is not just a feeling or an emotion. It is also a commitment. Venture into it only if you are serious about the commitment. Especially in our culture and society where family and relationships are held in high regard, it's not easy when someone walks out of a relationship unable to commit. Even more difficult for a woman, as seen by the trauma in the climax. That's how the film stands out than simply been a love triangle.
