In the countryside, the virgin hick Nestor (Flávio Migliaccio) sees a naked model taking pictures and chases her through the fields and village. His father decides to pay for the services of the local prostitute Marli, but Nestor feels repulse for the whore and his father expels him from the village. Nestor travels by foot and hitchhiking and along his journey, he meets his cousin (Marília Pêra); the young prostitute Janete "Tutuquinha" (Irene Stefânia) in a brothel; the young Dulce that is participating of a scavenger hunt in her Fiat No. 18; the charming actress Leila (Leila Diniz); but their encounters do not meet his expectation and Nestor does not lose his virginity. When he arrives in Rio de Janeiro, he is arrested and in the jail he meets a travesty. When he is released, he finally fulfills his mission.
"O Donzelo" is a silly 1970 Brazilian movie that makes laugh. The surrealistic adventure of the virgin Nestor chasing a woman to lose his virginity has funny moments, but the best is the chance to see Marília Pêra, Irene Stefânia and mainly Leila Diniz very young. I unsuccessfully tried to correct the year in the IMDb Title and its system accuses that Leila Diniz died in 1972, but my update was rejected. My vote is six.
