  • Warning: Spoilers
Well, compared to another Greek murder mystery I watched yesterday made around the same year ("Eglima sta Paraskinia"), this film is clearly inferior. For one thing, it is 20 minutes longer, and it didn't need to be: it is flabby when the other film was tight. Other flaws include an often too-loud score, a mystery plot that becomes VERY obvious somewhere around the middle, an unintenionally funny serious performance by veteran comic actor Dionysis Papagiannopoulos, and the fact that Inspector Bekas, who is supposed to be the central character, is more of a guest star. The movie does have some atmosphere, but I lost interest quickly. Watch "Eglima sta Paraskinia" instead. ** out of 4.
