This film seemed to be made a little ahead of its' time. The reality TV craze didn't seem to hit until the new millennium, and now we can't wait to be rid of it. But, I guess you can argue that porn has always been reality TV, without the prime-time hoopla and ratings wars.
Extreme Janine is for those who like hardcore girl on girl group sex, with some S&M mixed in. It sounds extreme (thus the title) and for the most part, it is. It is not a typical Vivid feature. The film is about Janine conducting an open audition for girls to fulfill one of her fantasies - being dominated and gangbanged by a group of women.
The title states that it is a 12 girl orgy, but it is really a bakers dozen, split in two. The movie begins with Janine conducting interviews with several known and unknown porn starlets on a casting couch. The girls are asked all kinds of questions and the feel and look of it is very candid. Indeed, this is not scripted. The footage here is real and the girls are not guaranteed a spot in the film. Many of them do not make the cut. If this sounds like a "fast-forward", be patient, because while Janine is interviewing, the lovely Alexandra Silk casually fondles and fingers her way around the girls as they answer questions. Some of the action here gets really hot, with Janine doing herself at times.
After a few rounds of interviews (which are short and segmented, so as not to get boring), we begin with the first orgy scene in a dungeon. No spoilers here, but I have to say if you like spanking, anal, and toys, then this is your scene to lube up. Of course, the crescendo to this is that Janine gets covered in cream, wax, and God knows what else, getting gang-banged and abused to her delight.
After this we go in for another round of interviews followed by another orgy scene with Janine doing a bit of the dominating at first and eventually ending up on the receiving end by a different group of willing participants - all girls.
My only critiques of the film is that it seemed to cut off rather awkward at the end. The first orgy was better, thus it should have been saved for last. I think this movie is ripe to become a series, considering the success of the "Vioation" series by Jim Powers.
