One might actually not believe this but this movie was directed by Hrishikesh Mukeherjee, the maker of films like Anand, Musafir, Bawarchi, Namak haraam, Alaap, Satyakam, Chupke Chupke and Milli. Though this movie is nothing compared to those masterpieces, it is worth watching. The story starts with Dr. Shreeraam Lagoo killing himself on his wedding night after discovering that his newlywed wife, Zeenat Aman, is actually his long lost daughter. In India Vinod Mehra and Raj babbar are searching for Vinod Mehra's girlfriend, Zeenat Aman, who has disappeared. They meet Sanjeev Kumar who tells them the story of 3 young friends and what they went through. Now the 3 friends are old, Sanjeev Kumar, Dr Shreeraam Lagoo and Om Shivpuri and this has something to do with Zeenat. The story sounds far more interesting on paper than it actually is. Still the movie gets 5 out of 10 for Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Sanjeev Kumar, the music by R.D. Burman and the Kishore Kumar gem Bahut Door Hoke, Bahut Paas Ho Tum.
