  • Oh yea! I was in high school. I just recently watched this little gem not even 3 hrs ago and I wanted to make this movie the 1st movie I ever commented on regarding IMDb. While in school, I never really knew about what was going on in other parts of the world. If it didn't involve me personally then I didn't care. Fast forward to now..........

With friends of mine serving over seas and with 9/11 forever fresh in our minds. I find myself in the exact opposite state of mind. I care very deeply about worlds affairs and this movie really got to me. I wont spoil it for the reader. But when the action starts, I...... I found myself crying out or yelling out for the soldiers to be careful. I even cried in the end. It was almost like I was there. If I was this choked up just watching it, what kind of soldier would I have been?? God love and god bless those boys over there in that hell-hole!!. You felt like you knew these guys in the movie..........I love movies like that.

Even the music was spot on. Just watch it!! After it is done, you will look at your buddy, nod your head and say "damn right eh?"...

Take care people Richie Ellis Canada

a superb war film about modern day peace keepers on the front lines. there really is nothing flawed about this movie- it is far more "real" than any current "reality-show" you will find on tv. i think what makes it so real is that there are no dramatic shortcuts/ simplifications. we aren't given "the other side of the story", we find ourselves in the middle of the war, no good guys no bad guys just people with guns who say they need guns to defend themselves against people with guns. the job is simple, take the guns away and help bring peace to the community. we see soldiers commited to the task and honour a fallen comrade by placing his blue berret on him as he lay on the stretcher. this is a great war movie because war is presented not as a video game, but more as a test of will.
