TV Mini-Series | | Drama
Anna Karenina is the young wife of an older husband. She has an affair with the handsome Count Vronsky. By following her desires, Anna complicates her life.
Throughout the movie, any character who wears a wedding band is shown wearing it on their left hand. In the Slavic countries, such as Russia, Ukraine, and Poland, the wedding band is worn on the ring finger of the right hand. Wearing a wedding band on the left hand often indicates that the wearer is widowed.
When Anna takes the carriage she tells the driver to take her to the station. At the time when the action is set (1876) there were several railway stations in Moscow. It would have been necessary to tell the driver to which railway station he should go.
