Ambassador Alfalfa Doolittle: [after declining an alcoholic drink and ordering a glass of milk instead, then needing a plausible excuse for choosing such an "un-manly" beverage] What with Prohibition and all, I'm afraid that soon they may outlaw milk back in the States, so I want to enjoy it while I can.

Will Rogers takes a stab at politics.
When the story begins, the Senator (Will Rogers) has returned from Washington and regales his friends with a story about what it was like to be the Ambassador. It seems with this job, he became good friends with a king...mostly because instead of acting like an ambassador, he was himself...a folksy cowboy. You see Rogers save the King's life from an anarchist, the go hang out in an American bar and gamble and it all sounds very ideal...too ideal!
This is a gentle little comedy that fit in nicely with Rogers' persona because of his roping skills and natural way of acting around the high and mighty. Not a great comedy but a good one that will keep your interest.
