    What happened to this show?

When this show first started it was a little rough around the edges but it was interesting to watch. Then it disappeared for a few months, maybe so they could re-format it. Perhaps that's what did this show in.

The show has become boring and, well, lame. Sometimes the acting is extremely cheesy and the storylines are dumb. The show needs more action and less mom and daughter banter. It might also help if "Tiny" put another expression on his face once in a while.

    I take it back!

A while back I posted my thoughts about this show and have to say that I take them all back. This show has surprised me and has become better and better with each episode! I'm really glad it has turned around because I do really enjoy watching this show.

So please, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. ;-)

Entertaining TV series with interesting tidbits.

After watching the first two episodes of the new USA cable network crime-action-drama series The Huntress, I can say the series is entertaining and has plenty of potential. This series is based on real stories of a mother-daughter bounty hunting team of Dottie Thorson (Annette O' Toole) and Brandi Thorson ( Jordana Spiro.) They are both assisted by good friend Tiny Bellows ( James Remar) who helps them track down wanted criminals. And to mention a few tidbits relating to this series, first it's nice to see Annette O' Toole be the main star of a series. Second what about the beauty of Jordana Spiro, oh mamma talk about allot of cleavage! Does Jordana have a body or what! When watching the first episode of The Huntress, I noticed the opening credits and when I saw this young attractive female's face and name mentioned it occurred I had saw her years ago when she made a guest appearance on the sexy USA network crime-drama Silk Stalkings. I happen to have the episode recorded it's titled "Rage", and I believe that it first aired either in late 1997 or early 1998. I will certainly keep the episode in my video collection, because it happens to feature two very hot steamy scenes of Jordana in sexy colored lingerie. In fact both scenes feature her in silk multi-colored bras and panties. I certainly hope I see more of Jordana Spiro in not only TV series, but movies also. Enough about Jordana Spiro and her ability to be a future babe I know it will happen all in all The Huntress is very entertaining it features the emotion and love of a mother and daughter relationship and has the action-drama of any crime TV show.

    Bad Authenticity

The RJ45 connector for telephones was not introduced till 1987. It is like seeing someone watching a plasma TV in 1990. It takes me right out of the series. Its like the director says to a 20 year old " Fetch me a phone from 1970!' The 20 year old looks up the style of phone on the internet and orders one online, not knowing that retro looking 70's phone were cool to have in the 90's due to the invention of the RS45 cable.

It is a far bigger an error than a simple quick mistake because there are long scenes where the phone is present. For me they as well be using cell phones in terms of how it ruins the whole series for me.

    Good Show

Where can I purchase VHS/DVD copies of this series? My wife appeared in many of the episodes as an extra/ driver and we have lost them to mold and lack of care. I would like to find an outlet for these to replace them and surprise my wife. I have looked in Amazon and other on line stores but they don't carry the Huntress. I didn't get a chance to watch her during taping of the shows but would love to see them now. If anyone has a private library I would be interested in obtaining copies of this series. If anyone one knows a foreign site that may have them please let me know. I do know a lot of American made TV shows that don't make it big here in the states are released for the overseas market. Thank You Van Svensson
