Benjamin Barry is an advertising executive and ladies' man who, to win a big campaign, bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days. Andie Anderson covers the "How To" beat for "Composure" magazine and is assigned to write an article on "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days." They meet in a bar shortly after the bet is made.
Katherine Heigl is one of the models on the covers of a "Composure Magazine" during the sequence of magazine covers at the beginning.
"And only then will the people of Tajikistan know true and lasting peace." Andie, it's brilliant. It's really moving. But it's never going to appear in Composure Magazine.
When Andie enters Ben's apartment for the first time, and comments on how nice it is, the panning shot of the apartment shows daytime outside. They were just outside and it was night time (after drinks and dinner).
