  • I saw part of the Carlos Mencia episode and just recorded an episode w/ Ray Ramono on it that's being currently re-run on Comedy Central.

These executives get together the best comedians, let them write their own skits and then the viewer sits back for half an hour and is merely entertained by the comic genius of each guest.

If you ever catch part of these episodes on Comedy Central or HBO, just don't even think about switching the channel because, trust me, you'll regret getting a laugh in.

I'm hoping to see other episodes of this in the future seeming how there are so many comedians on here making an early appearance and, presently, at this time, they're now popular, but this is a must-see for anyone who's into brilliantly written "laugh-fests."

  • The HBO Comedy Half-Hour was put together very well.. They pulled some of the funniest people together and output something great. Dave Chappelle, one of the funniest comedians in the business did not let me down, Lara Kightlinger with her cynical style of comedy was also very funny.. (Although I swear I heard her use some of those lines in a comedy central special). Although I had never seen Patton Oswald before, That guy had me rolling on the ground his entire sketch. The rest of the comics were also very funny. In conclusion, They were good... so watch them..... right now..
  • Lately I've really been getting into stand-up comedy and humor - Denis Leary, Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, Dane Cook, David Cross, and so on and so forth. I watched a Dave Chappelle-hosted episode of "HBO Comedy Half-Hour" tonight on Comedy Central and it just about made me cry from laughing so hard.

Chappelle is hilarious (you'll know this if you've ever seen his television show on Comedy Central), and his stand-up is great. He talks about black people and prison as well as semen being found at crime scenes and watching porno with your partners.

    I laughed, I cried, I...almost hurled.
