Just because they work in a clean facility does not mean that they are confined to it, after all they did encounter one of the crew members at the mechanic shop. This is not a real strong hint that the SALF crew is up to something suspicious.
After the closing credits, a red beam makes a circle. The black hole pops out and the fake alien appears and growls at the audience. Then the fake alien unmasks itself as Scooby-Doo and he says, "Ree-hee-hee-hee-hee!"
