I'm surprised that the IMDb credits leave out the rappers who were on this show. There was Will Smith as Fresh Prince, Heavy D, Tone Loc, Queen Latifah, and Ice T doing some old school environmental rap. I showed the video of this to my 7th grade classes this year. They were able to overlook the big hair and shoulder pads mostly, and learned a lot. They were blown away by how young Raven was, lol. They didn't enjoy Barbra Streisand, but I did, and there were enough stars who are still famous enough that even 7th graders recognized them. I'm hoping they will be touched enough to get a recycling program going at our school for the polystyrene trays our cafeteria uses, or at least to discourage their families from dumping their oil changes on the ground.
  • I remember watching this special when I was in grade 5, and everyone was talking about it the next day (parents/students/teachers) it was really amazing.

I remember thinking the environment was ok, and it wasn't as bad as people were saying (I was only ten!) but watching all these celeberties talking about the environment made me start to be aware of it all.

Unfortunately that wore off within a year after watching the show(caring about the earth virtually disappeared everywhere). I remember they even had sitcom segments talking about the environment (Cosby Show, Married with Children etc.) it was pretty good to be honest. I'd like to watch it again sometime!
  • VERY interesting documentary. There are alot of interesting things here that alot of celebrities talk about. Basically, Bette Midler is Mother Earth, and thanks to everyone polluting and ruining the Earth, she is sick and dying. I remember EVERYTHING that happened in this show, and even own a VHS copy. There were alot of segments, including sitcom segments that included the likes of Cheers, The Golden Girls, Married... With Children, etc... It's a very interesting special, with alot of celebrities who seem to like doing this. However, I still remember trying to make a difference for a week, yet forgetting to do so a week later. It seems as though we stopped caring about saving the Earth. I can remember having a huge talk in school about this.

    Very interesting and Recommended.
