Trend setting movie which put an end to the continuous sob stories dished out by Malayalam directors during the late sixties. Interesting plot, melodious songs and Sankaradi's "kamath" character are some of the highlights of this entertaining film. Perhaps the only movie in which Prem Nazir and his leading lady Sheela both played C.I.D officers oblivious of each other till the very end. As the title suggests, the movie in most parts is shot inside the bus,Kannur Deluxe. A great entertainer worth watching anytime and any number of times.
  • This is a Malayalam language film starring Prem Nazir and Sheela. The pair hold the Guinness Book of Records for acting as a pair in more than 100 films.

The film is about a new employee girl who's asked to safely deliver cash to business partners by her employer. The events on the way onboard the Kannur Express make up for most of the film.

There are too many songs after Prem Nazir's entry. Some of the comedy is lame but for Adoor Bhasi and Prem Nazir's that lighten up the scenes. Sheela is gorgeous as ever.

The film is overall boring but spiced up by the action sequences in the end. The twist with Prem Nazir in the end while being good, Sheela 's twist was over-the-top.

GK Pillai stands out for his villainous performance. Watch it if you must, but only for him.
