Love can transform even the toughest of people. But when the need arises, a man driven to a corner will strike back. This is the message of this film.
Ranga (jeetendra) is a dreaded dada, who beats up people for money. One day his world is turned upside down when Beautiful but oppressed Ragini (Jaya prada) seeks shelter in his house to escape a man (Shakti Kapoor) who wants to marry her for her father's wealth. Ranga gives her shelter and eventually falls in love and marries her. Ragini convinces him to surrender to the police and repent for his past misdeeds, which he does as he loves her a lot. After his release he toils hard and with Ragini's help becomes Seth Rangnath. They now have a daughter, Shanti (Mandakini). She is in love with Shyam (Rajeev kapoor)and defies her parents to marry him. After marriage she sees a new side to shyam's nature.
But some incidents occur which force Seth Rangnath to become Ranga dada again.
What will happen next? will ragini and ranga regain their happiness?
