  Girl in Alley : Well, I'll never forget him, that's for sure. He was tall, broad shoulders, and thin, really thin, like bony. He had this rad chopper, it was all flames and stuff. Oh, and his face was a skull and it was on fire.

  [Blackheart starts screaming and goes into a catonic state. The Ghost Rider throws him on the floor] 

  Ghost Rider : [looks up at Roxanne, the flames dim. Roxanne reaches out her hand to touch him. Ghost Rider recoils]  Monster.

  Roxanne Simpson : I'm not afraid.

  [touches his face and he slowly begins turning back to Johnny Blaze] 

• Roxanne Simpson : Johnny Blaze, thank you for talking to us before your big jump. No one has ever attempted such a distance before: Three hundred feet from field goal to field goal. What's going through your mind, right now?

  Johnny Blaze : You look really good.

• Mack : [about Johnny's arrest]  Yeah, well, if this gets out in the press, his career is over.

  Mack : You know, you seem like a nice lady, and you're purty and all but we were riding the gravy train on biscuit wheels around here, and then you showed up, everything went to hell. So why don't you just go back to wherever it is you came from?

  Roxanne Simpson : I can't go back. Not now.

  Mack : Then tell me what the hell's goin' on!

  Roxanne Simpson : You wouldn't believe me if I told you. Look, you don't know me, but I love him. So if there's anything you know that can help, anything...

  Mack : Okay, well, lately he's been readin' these really weird books, and they're messin' with his mind, you know. And he's writin' stuff down, and he's stayin' up late. And he does it over here. You can go through his stuff, and I don't know if it means anything.

• Roxanne Simpson : [to Mack]  You don't know me, but I love him.

• Roxanne Simpson : [reading Johnny's books]  Jesus.

  Blackheart : [appears suddenly as Mack's blackened corpse collapses, responding to Roxanne]  Not even close.

  Roxanne Simpson : Or, I realize that you'd rather make up ridiculous stories than be honest with me... and I walk out of that door... forever.
