| Very good production of a nice opera
Othello is a very good play and this opera based on it is very good.Sets and costumes look very nice.Plàcido Domingo is very good as Othello ,this is among his first performances as Othello .He has a powerfull voice and he can act.Mirella Freni is very sweet and touching as Desdemona .She sang Willow Song and Ave Maria quite good.Piero Cappuccilli as Iago was truly very good.He acted good as the sly ,evil and cunning Iago .He also got the biggest applause of the night for Credo in un Dio crudel ,Iago's aria.Overall,beautiful.8/10
