  • I bought this on DVD for £2 not really expecting much. I knew the two leads but no one else in the film. Ms Everhart had impressed me in small roles in Jade & Trigger Happy. Richard Grieco is a reasonably competent C grade actor but I didn't expect too much, I was quite surprised.

For me this movie worked if you don't expect too much. I thought Angie Everhart was attractive and quite competent in her role and Richard Grieco was relatively believable in his role. The ending was pretty good and overall it was not a great movie, but one I would watch again. Some scenes were quite erotic and Ms Everharts nudity was worthwhile. Certainly better than most Shannon Tweed, Shannon Whirry offerings.
  • Look, this plot is horrible. HORRIBLE! This movie wants to be a very sexy version of The Usual Suspects. It does not succeed. Granted if your primary goal is just to get a look at Angie Everhart in all her glory then that is another matter. She certainly looks fantastic and that might make it worth renting. Having a laugh while telling your friends that you actually watched a Richard Grieco movie also might make it worth renting. How can anyone possibly take Richard Grieco seriously?!?! Angie Everhart may actually have some talent, but roles like this do nothing to build her credibility. If she's got to get naked to get a role, at least do it in a better movie.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Your best friend dies during a sexual act gone wrong with a sleazy male artist. What do you do? Of course you play hard to get and then eventually hook up with him. This is the plot of 'Sexual Predator' an absurd T&A flick with Angie Everhart & Richard Grieco. I saw the signs going in, but wanted to see if it was up for getting trashy or at the very least provide unintentional laughs.

That event I just described - sex act that sets the movie in motion - literally happens in the first minute. A dizzying mix of nudity, flash cuts and perhaps rock bottom of an acting career for the lady involved. Damn does Grieco look slimy here. Shockingly during the credits you find out this was produced by both the featured stars.

Beth (Everhart) equal parts obsessed & desperate uses her pull as the newly appointed supervisory probation officer to get JC Gale's (Grieco) case assigned to herself. Well you can see where this is going. What better way to get to the bottom of your friend's death and satisfy curiosities then by getting close to the man responsible. It's delusion at it's finest as the film delivers both the trash & laughs I hoped for.

He's described as intelligent, manipulative by a psychiatrist who calls him "a very dangerous man" you can see the fire in Beth's eyes light up. Gale is semi wealthy, speaks with a husky voice and discloses his first sexual experience was at the age of 10 (gross). He does highly sexual art which gets shown off at a gallery event that Beth attends after getting flowers and an invite from him. Not to be outdone on the damaged meter, Beth lies to her co-worker boyfriend about going and we already know she's a survivor of incest (yuck). Anytime she's asked what the heck she's doing spending time with this dude she whips out the "it's my job" excuse.

It keeps descending into creepiness. He has an underaged girl modelling for him and all he can say is "she'll be eighteen in a month" and it's okay because he has parental consent and then kisses the girl on the mouth on her way out. This movie is a treasure trove that just keeps on giving.

A needless thriller whodunit element gets added about someone tormenting Beth, but the ending genuinely surprised me. I thought I knew from frame one. 'Sexual Predators' delivers plenty of explicit T&A, but has an ugly feel to it which will leave you either disgusted or laughing at it's absurdity. Maybe both.
  • While having a kinky sexual intercourse with suffocation, the artistic photographer Gale (Richard Grieco) accidentally kills Lisa (McKayla). He is convicted, but gets probation due to his primary condition. The probationer is Beth Spinella (Angie Everhart), the best friend of Lisa. Beth gets closer to Gale, and is seduced by him. Meanwhile, a maniac mysteriously threatens her. The story has a very surprising end. Yesterday I watched this movie and, for an erotic thriller, it is not so bad. The greatest problem is the gay face of Richard Grieco, with those thin eyebrows. His face looks like a kind of Michael Jackson, and does not fit well in a very masculine role. However, it is worthwhile to see the gorgeous and sexy Angie Everhart naked or in sexy situations along most of the flick. In my opinion, Angie Everhart is not a bad actress, but if she prefers this type of role, that is her choice. I do not know how many times she is undressed along 85 minutes running time. Probably it is a record! But at least she is delicious. The story is not so bad, and with some improvement in the screenplay, could be great. Anyway, I do not regret watching this movie. My vote is six.

Title (Brazil): `Louco Por Sexo' (`Crazy for Sex')
  • Last Cry (aka Sexual Predator) is a misguided attempt at trying to stimulate the young rental crowd with hopes of erotic scenes involving none other than the B-Movie queen of the day - Angie Evanheart. The story was preposterous and the acting was phoned in. Even the costume design was terrible. Angie plays the typical B-movie type role. One where the 'doctor' wears glasses and men's suits to cover what we are all aware is a killer body to be revealed at a later time. Nudity is abundant. 3 minutes in cue first nude scene, 13 minutes cue second, 24 minutes, cue flashes back to first. Angie's close ups reveal more makeup than what a 4 year old daughter would paint on herself if she ever got into your makeup cabinet. Do yourself a favor, stay clear of this release so that the smaller studios realize that a story....any story is required before we throw our hard earned dollars at a flick. GMO

    Warning: Spoilers
The predator didn't show up for the first hour so I quit watching. Turns out it's not a prequel or sequel to predator or aliens vs predator at all.
  • i hired this movie on a recommendation from the video shop owner. big mistake. my scepticism was well founded as this was a shocker. i managed to get about 2/3rds through the movie but it all got bit too much for me and it had to go. the plot is all over the place. the acting could indeed be the poorest i've ever witnessed.the movie does feature more than enough nudes scenes with the female lead actor. if your an angie everhart fan then, maybe, you might even be able to get through the whole thing. if not don't bother as i think you'll actually resent spending your money on this b-grade blooper. p.s. i have since changed video stores.

This is so bad. The cut that the BBFC made is so painfully obvious. The whole film is painful to watch. Not erotic at all. Pointless story that is stupid. The twist at the end makes no sense. It is just a bad copy of Basic Instinct (1992) which wasn't that amazing in the first place. Save your time and don't watch this. The only bit that held my attention was pre-credit introduction which sadly only lasted fifty seconds. That means that I enjoyed less than 1% of the film (I actually did the maths which entertained me more than the actual film).

You don't watch a movie like Sexual Predator for the plot which is a good thing because the plot is ludicrously stupid. You watch such a movie to see an attractive woman, in this case Angie Everhart, take off her clothes. Everhart of course looks fabulous so in that respect Sexual Predator has delivered on its promise. Unfortunately it delivers absolutely nothing else. The story is just absurdly terrible, stupidity piled upon stupidity, all capped off in the end with as stunningly stupid a conclusion as you could imagine. The acting in the movie is uniformly atrocious. Everhart turns in by far the best performance which tells you all you need to know. There is a reason after all she's starring in straight-to-video trashy B-movies, she's a lousy actress. But she's a heck of a lot better than Richard Grieco, her co-star in this film. He's simply wretched. And some of the supporting players, Kevin Fry most notably, are so bad you can't help but laugh at their painful line readings. This is a movie which starts out badly and almost impossibly keeps getting worse and worse. You know it's going to be trashy but some trashy movies at least have a little redeeming value. No such luck with this one. It's trashy and it's terrible, not a good combination there. You get the look at Everhart that you came for. But it would take a lot more than a few minutes of topless Angie to save this total turkey of a movie.
  • I watched this movie as a feature on Late Night Cinema from local Mexican T.V. After watching the names of sweet sexy Angie Everheart and Richard Grieco I knew exactly what to expect. Why? Well both actors are very popular for the b-movie efforts and to say of the title, I just felt the vibe...I got what expected. A regular almost decent erotic thriller with the typical sex scenes that try to look artsy but end up looking very sexy and steamy.

There's one special sex scene where Angie Shines in all of her nude glory. She performs very well and looks extremely hot when sweating... God I love women. She's spectacular, sexy, and looks pretty damn hot.

The plot deals with a serial killer on trial, plenty of sex, and some intrigues. You know what to expect...

Recommended for Angie Everheart fans and for those like me who loooove erotic thrillers.
  • This movie is a great thriller with many twists and turns. A great performance by all the actors and actresses. I really believed that I was in the movie's scenes. This is racy and inventivle new movie that deserves some praise instead of bad reviews. I think anybody wanting something hot and new should view this movie. It stars Angie Everhart and Richard Grieco.

Well, as far as I'm concerned this is certainly a "B" movie. I enjoy a good B movie and this would be one of them.

It's a cross between "Never Talk to Strangers" and "9 1/2 Weeks." I really find Angie Everhart quite pretty and although I've never been nuts on Richard Grieco, I did notice one thing . . . the two of them together emitted an intense chemistry just like that of the Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke combo.

She is his probation officer after he was found guilty for manslaughter by killing her best friend via sexual asphyxiation. The curiosity about him gets the best of her and she finds herself beginning to slip outside the professional boundaries of her job. This causes her to tell him on the phone that she will no longer see him outside of the office.

Of course - what happens? She works late that night . . . alone . . .in the dark and then he comes prowling into the office, with a straight edge razor in hand (he collected them), he uses the back of the razor to trace the outline of her face and neck while standing behind her, I tell you, I felt her fear and excitement and just the taboo of it all and I guarantee you, the chemistry worked and was worth seeing despite the movie being a B, despite the secondhand actors and weak plot - the chemistry and the touching of the taboo sexual practices was actually quite refreshing.

This is what I would term, "Very Good" bad TV.

I just watched this movie last night, but it went by the name "Dangerous Desires" for some reason. Anyway, this was quite a treat for those who want to see Angie Everhart take it off. Angie Everhart plays Beth, a parole officer who is obviously gorgeous despite her appearance--you know, the "frumpy librarian" type of clothing, the tied back hair, the glasses.....they did a great job of hiding her behind all that at first. During her first encounter with her boyfriend Joe, the glasses come off, the hair comes down and Beth goes to work. The difference is like night and day. Beth's co-worker Caroline has been assigned the case of Gale, played by Richard Grieco. Gale is an artist who was charged with the murder of a woman named Lisa, who just happened to be Beth's best friend and former roommate (go figure). Of course, Beth asks to swap with Caroline to get the case. After some initial resistance from both parties, Beth meets Gale at an art gallery (look for a Gabriella Hall cameo as she plays the girlfriend of one of the browsers) and gets to know intimate details about him. From there, you know it's just a matter of time before they end up sleeping together. As the movie goes on, Beth gets less frumpy and sexier. Her boyfriend Joe, who seems to be the jealous, overprotective type, continues to harass Beth about her close relationship with Gale. He even goes to Gale's house and threatens to kill him if he doesn't stop seeing Beth. Of course, there's some killing going on, too. First, Beth's cat gets killed, then Maya, a woman who does modeling for Gale's artwork, is strangled to death. As the truth of the killer is revealed, Caroline gets a little too close and is bumped off herself. This leads up to the final scene, where Gale and Beth are making out passionately on Gale's bed. Joe walks in on them, gun in hand, and even more secrets come out. Here, we find out who the murderer is, and Beth's ulterior motive for having an affair with Gale. I don't want to ruin it for the 5 or 6 of you who will stick around that long, but let's just say that as the film fades to black, Beth has a big smile on her face. Women: A (Angie Everhart finally showing some skin is enough for me, but brief appearances by Tina Tyler and Gabriella Hall scored extra-credit points with me.) Sex: B+ (Only a handful of sex scenes, but were good for what they were. Angie Everhart is in most of them, so that's enough to keep the grade fairly high.) Story: A (An erotic thriller with a better-than-average script and a couple of plot twists at the end. We also see plenty of character development from all of the major characters involved.) Overall: A- (The "Sex" grade deducts one-third of a point from the final grade, but it was still a great film. Definitely worth taping. Why doesn't Angie do more of these? She looked like a natural. I can see her and Gabriella Hall doing an installment of "Summer Temptations" together--now that would be fun.)
  • Another obvious attempt to cash in on the "Basic Instinct" craze about Law Enforcement officials getting a little too sexually involved with their charges. The story would have worked better if the antagonist had been a little more menacing.

However, Angie Everhart seems to have that 40's style screen siren glow that has been sadly missing from the movies for decades. All light on the set seems to radiate from her when she is on the set, despite a few lapses by the Director of Photography.

She also does a very competent job of striking a balance between a vengeful parole case worker and a sexually repressed (more like kinky sexually repressed), but knowingly gorgeous women.

I hope Angie finds her break through role. If she doesn't, I guess she can always marry the prince of Monaco!

    Wow
This was intense. I was just expecting a movie with a little hot and heavy but this was more. The plot, acting, dialogue, set design was fantastic. The plot twist at the end did surprise me though. Even my boyfriend said he never thought of subtle things they did. I was laughing after he said that.

However it showed how he even paid attention to the movie. I for one thought that they focus on her wild hair a little to must but I have to admit girls got nice hair. The intimate scenes were not as trashy as I thought they would be by the movie's ratings.

In the end I'd say its a really good movie.

I must tell you that I'm an Angie Everhart fan, so this probably won't be the most objective review. I don't want to disrespect her, but we all know she's not the most talented actress. She rather mesmerizes the viewers with her amazing looks and that unbelievable red mane. She shows a lot of skin here and when she's dressed up she's very elegant and sexy as always. She's super cute, when she wears eyeglasses and those braids are WOW.

I don't know anything about the American criminal justice system, but I don't think there are too many female probation officers in real life. I can't imagine women would supervise male sex offenders, simply because it could be dangerous for them. So the situation is a bit strange. The story is slowly going forward, this is definitely not a fast paced movie. Angie brings her usual elegance and aura here, she's a tough girl who takes her job seriously. The bad guy, J.C. Gale plays the photographer, who can easily seduce every woman nicely. Angie's boyfriend Joe wasn't the best choice. He's not the most handsome man and honestly it's hard to believe a goddess like Angie would date with him. But we all know the casting usually isn't too good in these straight-to-video B movies. The plot is acceptable, there's a few twists but nothing extraordinary.

The nudity is great here, but everything else is average. I'm sure Angie's fans will enjoy her performance and body. Others can give this film a try. Watch it with your boy or girlfriend on a hot summer evening, I'm sure some scenes will arouse both of you. :)

    Spoilers herein.

I make a hobby out of finding interesting things in bad movies. Soft porn is a pretty promising playground for this because so many talented people seem to be involved while waiting for something else.

And gosh, this project is almost worth recommending.

As a thriller it actually works! -- at least so far as the way that the story is structured and paced. The acting is generally bad but in a twist the supporting actors are much worse than the main ones. In fact Angie is no worse than what we accept from Julia Roberts. That's not saying much, and what she does is far less than what the role demands. But that's because the role is surprisingly complex and demanding. Grieco is even better in his greasy Mickey Rourke manner. He is the person who made this happen outside the film and within it. He's not a Vincent Gallo, but there is an edge there. His director and cinematographer let him down though.

As old fashioned late eighties soft porn, it sort of works too I suppose. I continue to be amazed at the rocking horse moaning that is supposed to represent copulation. I continue to be repelled at the defacing of natural beauty these women go through for increased breast size. The real star of these scenes is the actress who plays Lisa, the woman killed in the beginning. She is pretty good at what she does and not unnaturally deformed either. Her effects are taken from the much superior "Realm of the Senses." Elsewhere, in her supposedly "frumpy" mode, Angie actually is attractive.

Oh well, the real prize for slogging through it is what I call "folding." That's where elements are reflected in other elements, most often in selfaware selfreference. For instance, we have here a photographed film whose chief character is a photographer, and the discovery of his relationship (the relationship of what he does and photographs to what we see as photographed) is through photographs of secondary characters. There are lots of overlaps where what we see as the film are snaps of photographs IN the film. Some art gallery conversation about folding of the photographer's erotic art.

There are few reflections of who controls who: a relatively novel juxtaposition of the criminal justice system and bondage and domination in sex. This blurs into the obligatory soft porn convention of our heroine having sex with at least two men. Not unclever. One is the cop, the other the "bad" guy naturally. More: the folding of Angie?s past with what we see ? and why ? is the final revelation.

For me, it is another fine example of how ordinary these sophisticated notions have become. Just this time, the film was of much higher quality than usual.

Ted's Evaluation -- 2 of 4: Has some interesting elements.

    *SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*

I saw this on Cinemax the other day. I have recently become a devoted follower of late night Cinemax. I can't believe that I have been ignorant of its wild ways for this long. Not only does Cinemax show a softcore flick every night, there usually is some violent treat to finish the evening off as well. What I'm saying is, late night Cinemax is a gold mine of sex and violence. Check it out!

Speaking of sex and violence, "Sexual Predator" was pretty good. Angie Everhart is Richard Grieco's horny parole officer. Grieco strangled Everhart's friend during some rough sex. Everhart wants to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't do it again. Grieco decides to give her a guided tour of the sexual underground. Everhart is a quick study.

Everhart gets into her sex scenes and shows us all the goods. Murder, betrayal and some more naked Angie scenes make up the rest of the movie. It's a decent softcore thriller. It's worth a look. If you're a fan of Angie Everhart, you need to see this movie immediately.
  • There's just not enough titillation and way too much sleazoid histrionics to make this masturbatory mystery rise above the usual low-grade, late-night cable fare. Everhart is attractive here and Grieco is so punky and over the top as her whispering sex interest that even her messy performance appears acceptable. Not enough sleaze here to excuse the stupidity.
  • Richard Grieco (TV's Booker) is, Gale, a pale-faced artist who is under suspecion for the murder of Beth's (Angie Everhart) friend. Of course Beth slowly gets closer to Gale then a parole officer really should. This makes Joe, her boyfriend mad and in my opinion, rightfully so. I liked this film a tad more then I thought i would going into it. Perhaps the abundant display of the stunningly beautiful Everhart's mammeries had to do with my appreciation of the film. Because I sure know the stupid, stupid ending plot twist didn't.

    Where i saw it: Showtime-on-demand

    My Thriller Grade: C+

in ADDITION to this watch: "Jade"
  • This movie was pretty much what I expected and Angie looks great throughout. The plot was so-so with the end being somewhat predictable. The only reason I wrote this review is that I just can't believe the casting of "Beth"'s (Angie Everhart) boyfriend!!!!! Not even in the bizarro universe could a guy who looks like that (AND whimpers like a little puppy in several scenes) get a second look from a woman who looks like Angie, let alone being a steady boyfriend. I know they try to make her look frumpy in the beginning as though he may be in the same league with her, but it just doesn't make any sense......
