The comic "Bluntman and Chronic" is based on real-life stoners Jay and Silent Bob, so when they get no profit from a big-screen adaptation, they set out to wreck the movie.
Jason Mewes came up with the idea for "puffing" on the "Blunt Saber" during the fight with Cocknocker.
Silent Bob's Mother:
Bobby Boy, stay here while mommy picks up the free cheese, kay? Here, this will keep the sun out of your eyes.
Silent Bob's Mother: You be good, now.
Jay's Mother: Alright, don't you fuckin' move you little shit machine. Your Momma's going to try to score.
Passerby: What the hell? 'Scuse me. ...
When Jay and Silent Bob release the animals from the test clinic, at least two of the CG mice run through Bob's foot.
No animals were harmed while making this movie, but some internet snipers got their asses handed to them.
Viewers of the R1 DVD version who choose the French language option see a different version of the opening credits, with French text substituted, though the title of the film remains in English.
