| A warm film from a creative talent
Jenny Bright is a brilliant and interesting filmmaker. The Growing Season was fun to watch and well directed and acted. The film deals with a woman who is somewhat reclusive and a young girl who shows her the adventure that awaits in her own back yard. The pair explore the world outside the ladies window and opens the reclusive lady up to the possibilities that await when you lose your fears of the world outside. The cinematography is nice as is the editing. Considering this is Jennys debut short film she did a great job. The dialog is kept to a minimum choosing instead to focus on the eyes and the expressions of the actors. Look for more from this up and coming filmmaker. She also directed the opening scenes on the Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game.
