A boating accident runs a young man and woman ashore in a decrepit Spanish fishing town which they discover is in the grips of an ancient sea god and its monstrous half human offspring.
The name of the cursed town is Inboca or "Imboca" (according to Spanish language rules). Boca means mouth in Spanish, so translating and adding an "S", you get In-s-mouth, the original name of the town created by H.P. Lovecraft for his "Shadow over Innsmouth" story.
You cannot care for her. You do not dream of her! You will go soon to a beautiful place. You will forget your world and your friends. There will be no time, no end, no today, no yesterday, no tomorrow - only the forever and forever, and forever ...
In the scene where Paul is the hotel room, he removes the door slide bolt from the dresser and puts it on the door. He only puts one screw on it and its also positioned awkwardly. In the next shoot, there are two screws on the slide bolt with it placed correctly on the door.
Dedicated to Francisco Rabal, a wonderful actor and even better human being.
German version was edited by approx. 20 seconds to secure a "Not under 18" rating.
