the absolute worst
This movie is a complete and utter disaster. Not only is the plot unusually gimmicky (as Dr. Gore stated), but the directing, acting, and editing are far worse than any modern movie should be. Lance appears dazed, and its hard to tell if he's acting or is really confused about why he is in this film. The movie lurches from one scene to the next, throws in a flashback, then switches to a "monster view" with sheer disregard for film school basics. It was not only stupid and painfully "unscary", it was devoid of even comical kitsch, which is what we hoped for when we picked it over some killer snowman flick. We ended up deriding this POS for the entire time...and the ending was "made for sequel" although that was clearly not the plan. The final credit explains that the movie was based on a true story, and gives some blah blah about how the Harlan Knowles character (Lance) ended up in a psycho ward...the funniest part of the whole movie considering the director made the story so believable :D - do you concur chops?
