It`s Not High Concept

Roberta , a Hollywood director bangs her head and finds herself in Sherwood Forest in ye days of olde where everyone she knows in Hollywood is duplicated .

This plotline instantly reminded me of the 1970 DOCTOR WHO story Inferno where the Doctor finds himself in an alternative universe where everyone he knows back on Earth is duplicated as a fascist alter-ego . However while Inferno was a telefantasy plot at its very best VIRGINS OF SHERWOOD FOREST is a soft core porn film so we can forget all about phrases like " Convincing location in Nottinghamshire " and " Good acting performances " and boy can we forget all about " High concept plot " because it`s a soft core porn film . We should also forget all about anachronisms like silicone implants and thongs in ye days of olde , but at least the actresses Gabriella Hall , Shannan Leigh and Amber Newman are very fit so no complaints from me

some people like hard core i stay totally away from it as it kills passion and romance element and also viewer want some story too not just random sex i choose soft core genre as my favorite been a fan i do check out most films new or old this time i came across this year 2000 release called Virgins of Sherwood forest if you know robin hood and his stories its a spoof on him with a lot of women around lusting after him.

the plot:a movie director gets hit in head on film shooting sets and gets knocked now she is having dreams of living in a forest of Robin Hood.

i mean from the title no one will go for this because of story it is only because of nice women and great intimate scenes & nudity which is presented here but also mass usage of useless dialogs ruing it but when hot scene does start it not done properly but still watchable because of the cast.

the cast runs of only 2 ladies which i am a huge fan of Shannan Liegh she is amazing but another hand there is legend of soft-core Gabriella Hall quite the most amazing woman i have ever seen and you will to if you see her other films like Sexual Roulette 1996 miss hall got a perfect body and they way she performs is amazing it got me thinking that with such good looks and acting skills even in this genre so many actresses are amazing but they are not famous or get big films i guess its just bad luck.

there is nothing much here as this came out in 2000 if you really like these two actress you may like Virgins Of Sherwood Forest 2000 My Rating is 5/10 just keep expectations below and you might enjoy this.

An unoriginal parody, average plots and bad acting accompanied by beautiful women with impeccable physiques, is a formula that anyone should use to make an interesting and new movie.

I honestly think that the acting level of many of these young women was average or bad, but they were in the spotlight because they had what was needed for this type of movies, good physique and excellent face. Nothing personal or critical, but I think it is necessary to focus on that that is why these types of films were a resounding success.

A short budget is also an element to support the previous factors, as they help much more to make women more noticeable and attract much more attention. That's why I think many of these movies are as successful as they were at the time.

The only thing I can highlight in this case is that there are excellent regular shots and effects, which promise a lot compared to many films.

Throwback Classic

I remember first watching this movie when Craig Morgan brought it into school. At first I thought like everyone else it was funny, bit of a laugh, banter. How wrong was I! When it was 'my turn' to borrow the VHS for the weekend I just thoroughly enjoyed it. I probably enjoyed it too much in fact. I even watched it when my friends came over and I pretty much ignored them the whole time they were there. To sum up this is my favourite film and I just want everyone to know really.

The film consists of non-acting hardcore stars doing softcore material. Roberta (Gabriella Hall) is shooting a video when she gets conked in the head and imagines she is back in Sherwood Forest with Robin Hood and a host of anachronism. Not much plot. Over half the film is simulated sex.

Robin Hood-themed fancy dress party in a frat house

"Virgins of Sherwood Forest" is like a Robin Hood-themed fancy dress party in a frat house. Sure, it's got all the merry men (and women!), but they seem more focused on their merry-making than any actual robbing from the rich.

The acting quality varies like the stock market, one moment it's up, the next it's down, but hey, who needs Oscar-winning performances when you've got scenes that look like they've been shot in your aunt's garden?

Budget-wise, think more 'a handful of change' rather than 'bags of gold'. The film somehow manages to turn it into an endearing quality - imagine Robin Hood made by enthusiastic film students.

And the adult content? Well, it's less 'romantic stolen kiss under the Greenwood Tree' and more 'repeatedly hitting you in the face with a bawdy innuendo stick'.

So, if you like your classic tales full of low-budget high-jinks, "Virgins of Sherwood Forest" might just be your Holy Grail. Just don't expect an epic historical saga. Or anything close to it.

Not bad, but not Surrender's best.

VOSF was actually better than I expected. It isn't in the same league as Surrender's a-list titles from the mid to late 90's, but it can still respectfully wear the softcore badge. The plot is a rip of "A Connecticut Yankee". It starts out in modern times on a video shoot for a rock star. But the director, Gabriella Hall, gets knocked on the head and wakes up in Sherwood Forest in the days of Robin Hood. The sheriff of Nottingham is gone, but his evil, horny, large breasted sister has shown up to cause problems. It's all very tongue in cheek and sufficient to justify several sex scenes.

There are eight sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl and one is girl/girl. There are also a couple of "forest strip club" scenes (don't ask). There are four women and they are all attractive and the sex scenes are all decent. But like I said above, this is a far cry from what Surrender and Cybil Richards (the director) gave us a few years earlier in titles like Femalien and Virtual Encounters.

If you're a big fan of one or more of the main actresses (Gabriella Hall, Amber Newman, or Shannan Leigh) I'd recommend this.

Above average soft-core fun

Typical soft-core fare with a heaping course of Shannan Leigh who I happen to enjoy very much due to her "acting" abilities and personal qualifications. Other visual treats include Amber Newman and Gabrielle Hall.
