Full of life and color
A live, high-spirited story of modern warfare, in two reels, with Kerrigan and Richardson as officers in the United States Army. Kerrigan is dismissed, as the result of his love for the colonel's daughter, whose status in the picture was never very clearly shown. The scene is transferred to Manila, where Kerrigan as a refugee begs to be allowed to fight once more for his flag. He of course is permitted to do so and wins pardon for his previous offenses. The closing scenes were a trifle hurried, but full of life and color. A good release. - The Moving Picture World, August 30, 1913
