A brilliant conception of thrilling experience. Kanathaya Penkutty (The missing girl) is something a nice thriller to watch. We have to consider the time when it hit on the screen then we should gain the reason to rectify some of the mistakes in it. I'm not going to point about the mistakes rather I would like to talk about my fascination with this one. It was released at the time when KG George, the great auteur doing some this kind of gems to Cinema world and here it, this one looks like George's film. But one thing has to mention about the direction. The plot, setting, and subject look pretty close to George's works but the film lack its way of representation. Straightly going through the matter through dialogues and there misses the communication through a visual medium. Anyway, the subject and the thrilling element force us to sit throughout objecting our eyes to blink because we are in the investigation along with the Police officers. The turns, twists, etc has its freshness, were the movie talks about the dark side of humanism. The derivation of human concept or humanism is revealed at the climax portion. I'm not going to spoil this writing with the exact explanation of the movie. You've to grab it and it is available on Youtube. This film does not disappoint you for sure.
