Kattu Kuthira

This is a Malayalam language film with Thilakan as the anti-hero title character.

The film has very well written with a good dose of humor and varied accents among the characters based on their family backgrounds.

The film is also beautifully directed with a detailed character sketch of the protagonist right from the title scenes. Thilakan has shined in this performance ably supported by the rest of the cast.

The film shows the changes in society and what characterized prosperity at various times in Kerala. The social differences that prevailed and how it led to enemity through lifetimes and across generations.

The message through all the humor and heart breaking ending being that only love can mend these hurts, only if you give it a chance.

An entertaining must watch!!
