The movie has a young Rajni at his best... The plot is simply magnificent with Rajni and Y Gee Mahendran going after a Swamiji who is a fake and successfully unravel the scandal.. The film was one which had the beautiful Rati Agnihotri as the heroine who was also in her elements..The song Ponn Oviyam was an instant hit with Ilayarajaa making a classic... The settings and the music along with the cinematography was excellent. Considering it was 1981 the plot was something brilliant and is worth watching.. Its a must see for all Rajni fans and prospective fans... Rajni though not a superstar then did a magnificent job in making the movie an instant hit. Just the man for the job. Another Rajni Special.
