I don't see why nobody pays attention to this. Hearing these stories are awesome especially for me I'm a big history especially when there's sports involved.

I've seen the movie Brian's Song.It was terrific.

I loved that movie so much that I saw it again as soon as possible. If you see the movie,it would be impossible not to like it.It was a movie about football,no.It was a great movie, yes.Trust me,if you haven't seen it yet,see it.It was such a great movie I asked my family if anyone else has another movie like that one. After watching it the second time,I wanted to watch it again. You don't know what you're missing.Sure, the life of Brian Piccolo was way better than any movie could ever be,but if you don't know his story a good way to start out is by watching this movie.Anybody can simply say sure,I know the story of Brian Picollo, but half of those people won't know what the heck you're talking about. And for the record, they won't know what they're talking about either. You can e-mail me if you have any questions about Brian Piccollo, Brian's Song, or any other football-related question and I will give you my honest-to-goodness opinion,or in case it's a question that needs a fact,i'll try my hardest to get it for you.

    "Oh, the games men play"

I have never watched a biography show (and I love A&E's "Biography") that has touched me quite as deeply as Sports Century. As a viewer, one really feels as though he or she has lived a little of the life that the athlete being profiled has lived. Each fall makes you sink a little. Each rise makes you feel better about yourself.

Recently, however, the show reached new heights. Watch the Shakespearian documentary on Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry. I have never seen a documentary as original and as poignant as this.

    FIVE STAR WORK.

This ESPN series is one of the best produced documentary series of all time. The focus is on the much cliched human side of the pro jock, but ESPN's production talent avoids every cliche and breathes fresh life into what had become a tired genre. The emotion filled Brian Piccolo segment is better than BRIAN'S SONG. Secretariat is humanized to where you'd like to hang out with the horse. Jailed former stars are neither glorified or martyred. This is exceptional work. It can only get better.
