Good morning, George, how are you? / I hope you're feeling fine. / I'd love to stay and talk / but it's almost eight o'clock ,/ and I haven't got the time. / Because we work real hard at the Chocolate Factory. / We start at 8, and we don't get lunch...
It'd be very wasteful for a chocolate factory to throw all of its misshaped bunnies into a furnace. Chocolate melts around the low thirties Celsius (mid-to-high eighties Fahrenheit), which wouldn't require a furnace at all (let alone a fiery Babylonian-era furnace), and it's very easy to mold.
In the original VHS release, "The Bunny Song" sung by Mr. Nezzer included lyrics "I don't love my Mom or my Dad" and "I won't go to church and I won't go to school". The song was supposed to be a song written for the bad guy in the story and is a song kids are not supposed to sing, but kids did start singing it because it was so catchy. Big Idea started getting complaints from parents about this, so in newer VHS releases and on DVD releases, it was still a bad song but the lyrics mentioned above were changed too "I don't love my soup or my bread" and "I won't eat no beans and I won't eat tofu".
