Not what you might think.
The title threw me threw me at first. I had visions of survivalists plotting destruction on America, and I wondered
how the hell this was going to be funny (as I was told the movie was a comedy.) Now that I've seen the film I understand. It is not what I thought, but it is indeed funny, and dark, and that's good. The performances of the cast were excellent, led well by actor Devon Gummersall, as the main character Puck, who also is the voice of the film and does an excellent job. The `Anarchist Cookbook' is as others have mentioned, on the surface similar to `Fight Club', but it is not a duplicate of the Fincher classic. It bears some similar themes and vehicles perhaps, but it is its own film. The writing is witty. The acting was superb and apparently there is an actual town in Texas called `Plano', and it is used to good effect in the film. `A.C' is a little bent and lot of fun, and this being director Jordan Sussman's first full length feature, tells me there should be even better films to come. If you can see it, see it. It won't waste your time. And that's all I got to say about that.
