Scenery, location great! Story,Jesus way too human.
The "Passion of the Christ" Mel Gibson's depiction although graphic (how could scourging and crucifixion not be?) is scripturely accurate. This shows a impotent, confused, and mostly directionless Christ who only seems to show some leadership qualities after some heart-to-heart talks with his disciples. This seems like the product of a very naturally imagined interpretation of a Supernatural series of events. The gospels tell the real story. By giving Judas the "Sop", Jesus showed that he was the honored one at the table. Bob Gunton did a good job but he was more despicable in the "Shawshank Redemtion."
