  • My children are both avid Tweenie watchers, they really relate to the characters, especially Bella and Fizz as my children are both girls. We have quite a few videos and they have all been watched over and over again, the Christmas one is a favourite. We also have a bit of a star where we live, as the guy that plays Doodles lives in our village. The show itself is mainly aimed at the under-5's, playschool/nursery age children, but many many older children enjoy it too, they like to follow Bella, Milo, Fizz and Jake through their day at The Tweenies, my kids really love it when they go out and about, they also enjoy the stories that Max tells. The Play safe with the Tweenies episodes were also a really good idea.
  • If you're wondering whether this is a show that you might be able to tolerate sitting through alongside your children then I don't think so.

Maybe it will keep your kids quite but I'm not certain. Plots are mostly limited to this bizarre daycare and have none of the whimsy and imagination of Maggie and the Ferocious Beast or Charlie and Lola. There's morals and lesson but they're very very handed with them.

You will probably find it excruciating. As a grown man who can't get enough of Masha and the Bear, I must say that this sort of annoyed me as a little kids and it annoys me now.
  • I have never first of all I have never heard of this show till a few minutes ago and when I saw a clip of it my first thoughts were "oh my god what are these things and who created this show and why" these are the most God ugly hideous hell sent creatures I have seen in my life and if I ever see one in real life, I will get a heart attack. Whoever created this show needs to be put in jail for life and you can't tell me I'm the only one who thinks this. I have no clue what these British people are smoking cause this show looks like something from my nightmares. Honestly how can a real person watch this and think "I love this show" screw you guys I'm not going to be able to sleep for a week now.
  • Although I haven't seen Tweenies for about 3 years now, I remember really liking it. It is definitely not the best TV show ever, but it is not the worst either. As the title of my review indicates, Tweenies is better than Barney and friends, which I loved as a kid but now I dislike, finding it childish and annoying. As far as educational programmes go, this is for me one of the better ones, not as good as Pingu, Tots TV or Rosie and Jim, but in my opinion it is better than Barney and Dora the Explorer.

The story lines can get a bit predictable, with some moments of cheesy but mostly amusing dialogue, but what I did like were the colourful production values, the catchy theme tune and the educational value that is almost certainly there(ie. what colour goes with what). The songs are simple but surprisingly memorable, and do one thing right that Barney did not, they weren't annoying. And I liked the characters, Bella is bossy a lot of the time, but she has a heart as well, Milo is quite cool as is Jake and Fizz is someone who my siblings and I looked up to. I also liked Max, he was wise and kind like my grandfather, but my personal favourite was the dog Doodles, he was funny and cute. I also liked the stories that Max read, and in terms of episodes the Christmas episode and the play safe episodes are definite standouts. Overall, this is not a bad show, kids will love it and I think adults may as well. I have friends with four children who prefer Tweenies over TeleTubbies and Balamory, so that is something. 7/10 Bethany Cox

Creep to some yet for me its cool.

I like the diversity of tweenies. You have yellow tweens and blue tweens and tweens in all shapes and sizes.

This show teaches children its ok if you are different because you can still have fun with other people.

It has some funny moments due to the tweenies look goofy looking. Still a great children's show.

    Verdict: You tweeny?

Ahh, this show. Now, I have good memories watching this. It had almost everything good that you need in order to have a memorable and outstanding show: insightful and varied stories; colourful characters; and its gimmicks that it tried to go for were always spot on. In fact, they even made a spin-off of this back in the day, which was focused more on morals rather than interesting plots. It's somewhat sad that Tweenies ended, but you can't have everything in this world. I can barely remember some of its episodes, so I can't really go into much detail about those. Basically though, it's about four kids which go to a play-school run by a couple called Max and Judy (can you imagine anything like that in real life?) and their adventures. The episodes mainly focused on everyday things, and most of the time pulled it off quite effectively! This may be no Doctor Who, but is any kids show?
  • I am 15 and think the Tweenies is the best TV show ever. It is just so cool and whoever sed the Telletubbies rule they are poor! I am the biggest fan in da world and i love em heehee! Jake and Milo are my favourites and there is also a new puppy called Izzles. I dont like Bella much as she is a bit 2 bossy but Fizz is cool 2. Doodles the dog is kewl 2!
